I had a blog that I started several years ago and maintained regularly. At it’s best, a community of sorts formed and some great discussion ensued on a variety of relevant and timely issues. But over time I got busy and grew tired of trying to always come up with something “new”, and it became more of a weekly journal in which I quickly lost interest. So now I am back, but why?
I want this blog to serve as an online chronicle of the human journey to find Jesus. I truly believe we are tired of pulling Jesus out of our pocket to play on Sunday mornings and then putting him away again until the next week. We want to learn to see Jesus in people we meet, places we go, and things we do. I think what we want to find is an abundant life in which we are blessing others and where the kingdom of God is breaking out.
I am no one really special, not very important, and certainly not the best or the brightest. I am just a beggar on a journey for bread. So feel free to come along, let’s try and figure this world out together.
